Journalling reads: You don’t really enjoy most craft based activities, they tend to really frustrate you because you have a hard time gripping them. But you really enjoyed it when we tried this felt chick sewing project! The first thing we had to do was to thread the yellow wool in the needle. I showed you how to stitch the two large body parts of the chicken together and then left you alone. You sat and concentrated really hard and did a great job. once you had stitched the bottom half I helped you line up the wings and head feathers before you finished sewing the top half. All that was left to do was for us to glue on the googly eyes, the felt feet and the felt eggs to the front. I’m not sure who was prouder of your cool chicken puppet, me or you!
