Journalling reads: On your first day of nursery school, I think I was more nervous than you were. I was anxious about how you would adapt to being surrounded by children after spending so much time with just you and me. I was worried you would not know how to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom, or that you would get lost. I was scared that you wouldn’t fit in and make friends, but more than anything else I was sad that the time had come for me to share you with other people, my little baby couldn’t possibly be old enough for it to be time to start nursery school could he? You on the other hand were so excited to get going that you couldn’t even stand still long enough for me to take a few pictures. I dressed you in your new outfit, packed up your little elephant backpack and then kissed you goodbye before Daddy walked you to the nursery.
