Journalling reads: When you were little we often took you for nature walks. We would give you a bag and let you collect anything that looked slightly interesting to you. When you started nursery you were desperate to take some stuff in to show your teacher, so we decided that rather than take a bag of bits and pieces it might be fun to make a collage about our trip, using the things we had collected. The duck is made from feathers and helicopter seeds, the flowers came from the park and the fence came from our trip to mcdonalds on the way home.We added a few bits from the craft box to finish off the page, you were so proud to show it to your whole nursery class!

Journalling reads: It’s amazing to me how timeless some toys are. Things like Lego can be enjoyed by different generations, but the excitement level never changes, Mark loves to build with them just as much as Lukas does. On the flip side modern toys don’t seem to have the same kind of staying power. More often than not we buy toys for the boys and they end up being played with a few times before being discarded. Not this one though, Mark’s mum bought it for Lukas from a charity shop and he played with it for ages, Conor used to have one when he was little and he’s 14 this year!
