Journalling reads: There are really only so many times that I can say the same thing over and over again, before even I am sick of the sound of my own voice saying it. In this house the most common of those phrases is “TIDY YOUR ROOM!!”. It’s a long standing battle I nag, you go up to your room, you play/watch tv and do everything except actually tidy up. I come up to check on you and end up telling you off. It usually ends with at least one of us in tears. Well I got so sick of this that I decided to just do it one day while you were at school. When you got home you were thrilled and thanked me. Or at least you did at first, you changed your mind once you realised, that those 2 huge black sacks of rubbish had some toys in that you didn’t want thrown away! Hopefully this taught you a valuable lesson like why you should tidy up your own bedroom and decide what is rubbish!
This blog contains the ramblings of one crazy mummy. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. If it offends you feel free not to read it. You will often find moans, whinges, lists of my digiscrapping purchases and even the occasional freebie. I accept no responsibility at all for any purchases that result from reading my blog lol.

Journalling reads: Why is it that you always seem to look like a different person when your hair has been cut. Your eyes look bigger and are a different shade of blue, your cheeks look rounder and your ears seem to stick out more. I have always said that you are so much more handsome when your hair is cut short, but I think maybe it’s just that when your hair is longer and thicker you look more grown up and I don’t like it I prefer to see my cheeky little monkey! boy!

Journalling reads: From the very first time that I saw those 2 lines on a pregnancy test, I was waiting for this moment. Holding my newborn baby in my arms basking in the glow of being a new mother. Only it never happened, Lukas was whisked away from us because he was not breathing, I didn’t even get to look at him until he was a few hours old, was a full week before I could touch him. I got to hold Leo very briefly when he was born but the air of total panic surrounding his birth made any special moment between us impossible. Then there was you, placed straight on to my chest in the ambulance, cuddled the entire way to the hospital and then handed to me for photographs and more snuggles in the hospital. Thank you for finally giving me the new mummy moment I had so desperately craved during all 4 of my other pregnancies.

Journalling reads: I absolutely love these photos of you Lukas, because they capture you so perfectly. Dressed head to toe in your favourite John Cena clothing, with your hat always pulled down to far on your head. You were peeking out at me from under the peak, fidgeting and unable to sit still and always with that cheeky little smile across your face. I love you so very much my beautiful and sweet little boy.

Journalling reads: Why is it that with all of the toys you have in the house, you still prefer to sit on the floor and play with Nana’s beads? Why do those same beads seem to taste so yummy to you? I guess it is just yet another one of those bizarre little quirks that make you such a unique, fun little person. I don’t think I could ever bring myself to change a single thing about you, I love you just the way you are my strange crazy Logan.

Journalling reads: Lukas loves it when he gets to make cakes and then cover them in rainbow sprinkles. The last time that we did this you were watching with interest from your baby walker. I thought you might like like to join in, so I poured some into a little container and put them on your tray. You had no interest in decorating the cakes but you really enjoyed making a mess and licking them off your fingers!

Easter Masks
Credits: Layered template (May 2011, Template Challenge) by Scrappin Addict Designs and EggTastic Bundle by Jewel Goodwin (Mad Genius Designs) and Designs By Tracy. Font is Trebuchet MS.
Journalling reads: Our first Easter in our own house did not really go to plan. We held a little Easter egg hunt in the garden but didn’t get any photos as the camera wasn’t charged. All of the baking we had planned never ended up getting done and the decorations never got put up. But the boys did have fun making the Easter masks from the egg hunt kit, even if they didn’t want to colour them in! Silly boys! 24th April 2011
Egg Hunt
Credits: Layered template (Adventure 365, Template 11) by Jewel Goodwin (Mad Genius Designs) and EggTastic by Jewel Goodwin (Mad Genius Designs) and Designs By Tracy. Font is Letter Gothic Std.
Journalling reads: On Easter Monday we were finally able to have your egg hunt, we had to hold it inside the house thanks to the weather. You had a great time collecting the cardboard egg markers. It was very difficult to get any decent photos as you were racing around so quickly. You had found all the eggs in no time at all, and you begged to do it all again. So I sent you upstairs while I hid them and you spent the entire time shouting down to me "are you ready yet?". We ended up doing the whole process 3 times. It was so cute to see the look of excitement on your face, as you came across the eggs hiding places and to watch as you missed really obvious ones, because of how fast you were running. I think the funniest thing about it all was that you had no interest at all in eating the eggs you had collected, only in looking for them! 24th March 2008.
